I got a call from 3 time Emmy Winner Kev Lombard (who I got to spend a
week in Bermuda with at his step sons wedding a few years ago that we
were contracted to shoot.) Kev is not only a three time Emmy Winner but
was also the Director of photography for film and video for Victoria's
Secret fashion shows, Tommy Hilfiger and other well known brands. He was
asked to produce a High Fashion Image for a national hair color competition
and needed my studio and some equipment. (Warning Image of model will
not be shown until after the competition. Pictures below are all the players
it took to produce one shot.) I enjoyed the experience and found it facinating
to see how they all had to work together as a team, each one bringing
their own expertease. And incase it's not obvious, I would recommend
each of them for anyone interested in updating your look. For you Curly
Headed Folks out there like me and Khye... We even got a surprise visit
from Ouidad. Who knew that Ouidad was a person?!?! (pictured below) She's
the creator behind the ever popular hair care products for curls. Showing
the world how to "embrace and love your curls" Once the competition
is over, I'll post the winning picture.
The competition and the cast, all pictured.
