Behind the Scenes of Taylor’s Maternity Photo Session

Taylor is Having A Baby!

Taylor is expecting her first child, and reached out to our studio to inquire about doing a Maternity Session. She is a pediatric resident at a local hospital, and her kind and easygoing nature immediately put us at ease. It was clear that she is extremely easy to work with and we were going to produce amazing results.

Her Mom

When booking, Taylor was very intentional about including her mother in the shoot. Her mother is her best friend, and they have an extremely close relationship. At Taylor’s recent wedding, the photographer unfortunately did not get a single picture of them together, and it was a major disappointment. To honor Taylor’s wishes, we designed a special segment of her Maternity Session to highlight their relationship (see behind the scenes video clip). This aspect of the shoot was extremely heartwarming and special for everyone involved, including members of our own team.

She Knows What She Wants

At Little’s Photography, we have a large collection of maternity clothing to supplement our expecting mothers’ own wardrobes. During her session consultation, Taylor tried on various looks to see what fit her style and vision for her upcoming session. She also came to the shoot with a comprehensive shot list, and arranged her inspiration pictures into a plan. Taylor enjoyed having such a large say in how her shoot came to life. At Little’s Photography, though, this is not expected from everyone! We don’t need this extent of preparation to have a successful session. We can work with any level of planning to come up with a plan that works best for you.

Tim the Firefighter

Tim is Taylor’s husband, and he works as a firefighter. He was also a pure delight to work with – his Southern charm had everyone in the studio at his will. This man is such a devoted and loving husband, and he went right along with all of Taylor’s ideas. We couldn’t get enough of the two of them, and to no surprise the photo shoot went over time. The only problem we have now is choosing which pictures should become printed keepsakes!
