I was happy to tag along and photograph my first beach shoot with Jen and Danielle. What a different experience! I love shooting studio portraits, but I also very much enjoyed going on this location shoot- it provides a spectacular backdrop and lends itself to spontaneity and a fun atmosphere. The beach is a place that has always brought memories of family vacations & relaxation for me while growing up, and it is exciting to be able to capture the same experience for the clients who choose this very special family portrait. The natural light at sunset is stunning- switching from it’s warm soft light to cool twilight tones, it adds another element to the scene and the sentiment of the photographs. I enjoyed learning some new tips and tricks from Jen and Danielle and I look forward to participating in more of these special shoots in the future!
