The Magic Day has arrived!

Everyone WANTS to have an amazing family portrait, we’re all PLANNING on making it happen. Someday.. You know, that perfect day when everyone’s schedule is open, you’ve lost those 15 lbs and you get a $3000 unexpected tax refund in the mail. Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news – but it’s NEVER GONNA HAPPEN!

The reality of things is that months and even years will pass, you’ll be older, the kids will mature, you might even gain a pound or 2 and you’ll still be waiting for the planets to align for the RIGHT time.

Now the good news.

Trust me, I am that person I am writing about.

Don’t get me wrong, I have hundreds of great candids & even some really beautiful, artistic shots I took of my kids. But I never pulled the trigger to capture my family in an amazing, beautifully lit, loved filled family portrait.

I had good intentions.

I planned to do it.

I had the financial means and the time to do it – but that Magical Day never seemed to present itself.

Lucky for me I started working at Little’s Photography and was told I WAS doing a family shoot and a few days later it was a done deal.

The day I viewed the photos I had crocodile tears rolling down my cheeks as I looked at the family I love beyond words, captured in a way that represented us at this moment in time. They are priceless!

My kids were 9, 7 and 5. That’s a LOT of years of planning.
